Look, I'm using it!

Of course, I'm just annoying you, but I'm using it! ;)

Just kidding, I actually need some help with something. I have an idea for a tattoo but I can't figure out how to design it (you know I can't draw for shit). I want a bracelet-style tattoo with mosaic tiles, and I'll have the kids' names as the lines inbetween the tiles....or the tiles in the holes in the letters, however you want to look at it. I need to fool around with it to get it right, yk? Anyway, I don't know what program to use to do it. Before I would've used Appleworks but it crashes within 2 minutes of me starting anything ever since the upgrade to OS X.

So I'm thinking creativity, design, computers...Penny! :) Any suggestions? On a not-too-expensive program? Scott's been talking about getting Windows for Mac, would that have something I could use? (Personally, I'm not sure of the point in having a Mac if we're just gonna run Windows on it, but then I really don't know.)

Look familiar? It's made of my old t-shirts from high school, jr. high, even elementary school. Ironically, there's no Metallica shirt in there because *I* have all of those and never threw one away. My mom's been collecting these from the trash and yard-sale bags ever since I was little!

A well-deserved beating

Last night at work my boss had to break up a fight in our parking lot. Well, it was more like a beating, since the 15-or-so kid wasn't really fighting back. Apparantly he and a friend had been throwing rocks at cars earlier. Then when that got boring, they started throwing rocks at the horses that live in the pasture behind Dominos. The man who owns the horses chased them down in his truck(!), through the fence(!!), and caught one of them in our parking lot where he proceded to kick his idiotic little ass.

My boss broke up the two, and then when the police showed up, told them that the man had just caught the kid and threw him to the ground. Good boss!

There are 22 minutes until the O.C. is on, so here I am!

Lessee. Um. I'm doing well in classes. I should post my latest shot. The assignment was clothing and I decided to do a fashion "couture" type shot.

I know it's a little out there, but so is couture. I've gotten a really good response on it so far. I make the print show every semester, but I've never won a category. *crosses fingers*

I set this up at my house. That's my hairstylist and she brought her friend and fellow cosmetologist to do the makeup. Who also brought her one month old colicky baby. Thereby reaffirming my decision to never never never never have kids. Geeeeeze. Took 2 days and 6 Tylenol to ged rid of the headache. But seriously, the girls had fun and really helped me out. Rocking a colicky baby was the least I could do!
